Bird Watching – Winton To Boulia (Queensland)

6/06/2015  We have been doing a lot more bird spotting as we travel further out west. We have seen lots more emus, brolgas and wedge-tailed eagles. The eagles are impossible for me to snap clearly as we speed past them sitting on a fence post, eating road kill or soaring high above us. At Bough Shed Waterhole we saw another spotted bowerbird as well as a red-winged parrot, but it was too dark to get a good photo. Crows are always plentiful, feeding on recent roadkill.
