Bird Watching – Bingara (New South Wales)

18/10/14  Whilst at Bingara, we have shared the area with lots of birds which come down to the Gwydir River for a drink. We have seen galahs nesting and feeding their young; cockatoos; dusky moorhens; maned (wood) ducks; white-winged chough; fairy wrens; noisy friarbirds; eastern rosellas and rainbow lorikeets. At night as we sit beside the fire the tawny frogmouths call out to each other across the river.
